Okay, so I finally finished what I have been referring to on here as "the angsty Shinji fic" and so I decided to post it. Yay.

[Title] Not Coming Back
[Fandom] Battle Royale manga; AU in that Class B didn't end up in the Program
[Rating] Rish for swearing and implied dark themes
[Summary] Shinji Mimura does 1984... he may have avoided getting violently murdered by Kazuo Kiriyama, but his future still isn't looking bright. Edit: And I totally forgot to credit sabethea for betaing it - she was incredibly helpful and nice with it ^^

Good Lord.... it's been forever since I last read a full-length piece of fanfic like this, and it's totally blown my mind. Feel kinda gutted that my eyes aren't staying open, but srsly though, this was just ace. Your Shinjiness is really true-to-form, and obviously 1984 interpretations are automatic win, and the two stream together faultlessly.

How long did it take you to write this'un?
