I gotta admit, I didn't think you were going to take that final stance here; the fact Sayu really doesn't want to feel he's watching over her is an interesting take, even though she feels he is. The casual way in which his memory comes into conversation regardless of conversation is very well-touched, not to mention utterly accurate and believably portrayed.
