So, New Male Housemate woke me up last night - okay, woke me up from a doze, I hadn't quite dropped off - at 11.30 pm, using the microwave. (Ah, microwave, my mortal enemy.) When questioned about this he explained that he has now got a job at a pub on Sundays and Wednesdays, doesn't get back in til 11.30, and then needs to eat. Impasse.

It could be that I will manage to fall asleep and hopefully not wake up when he starts doing that but I'm not particularly optimistic. But I can actually see his point of view here.

To quote Allan Ahlberg: I cannot see what to do. It is a puzzle.

I may speak to my landlady about how she would feel about me breaking my contract, however. I am really stressed about everything to do with that house right now, and a little information-seeking never hurt.

My brain keeps telling me that there is no point in moving out because I will only screw it up like I've done the last few times, but I am trying to ignore it, mainly because I have to move out in July anyway.

New New Male Housemate has managed not to anger me in the twenty-four hours he's been in the house.

Anyway. I had a good time at JDrama last night (it only took me eight episodes to realise the two dramas share not one, not two, but three actors ^^ *is intelligent*) I actually cried a bit in Nodame *shifty eyes* which I am vaguely embarrassed about, but it was meant to be a genuinely moving moment.

Fingers crossed that it will stop disturbing you. But yes - do it! Research good!

Those books are SO sweet. I like Please Mrs Butler best I think, although I seem to recall that Heard it in the Playground is the one where the boys put on the play of Robin Hood which may be the funniest poem in the world.

I couldn't remember. It wouldn't surprise me, Please Mrs Butler is my favourite one.

It was meant to be one you saw preformed. I never really got quite so into it and I'm not sure why ....

*laughs* Ah, I see. Yeah, that's happened to me actually - whereas we have both of them and Please Mrs Butler just somehow left me happier.
