Creative endeavours

Soooo, it's Christmas soon(ish). And, in time-honoured tradition, I am going to make a stab at doing the annual 78-fic challenge on [livejournal.com profile] 12dayschristmas. However, as I'm also trying to be better at commemorating national events of generosity, I am asking that if anyone's got any requests for fic, that they submit them and I will work them into the challenge. Because I have 78 fics to write, people :D

So please feel free to ask! You know the fandoms I know of - pretty much anything I've done for [livejournal.com profile] 40fandoms is probably fair game (except possibly Heroes, because I find that really difficult. >_>) Gen or pairing is fine, although I don't think I can write things above R, so... yeah. Help me be generous rather than just sating my own twisted urges! ;)

(In other news, creative writing class is making me write haiku. I am finding this incredibly difficult. The haiku we had as examples are beautiful, simple moments that flow. Mine are clunky and sound like they have too many useless words in. Still, having said that, I managed to write one this evening that wasn't as bad. And it is good for my brain, I think. It's kind of like doing anagrams or something in poetry form.)

I love haikus. The best one I ever wrote went

Darkness falls early
January, the cold month,
Freezes my fingers.

You have to give January the full 4 syllables, though - which most people don't, so I always wonder whether I've cheated. Anagrams in poetry form - I think this is the best description of haikus EVER.

Argh, you wrote beautiful Alicia/Ginny for me last year, and I am now trying to get it out of my head to think of something else I might like.

Ooh, HP Genfic in which someone like Pansy Parkinson or Petunia Dursley demonstrates why she acts like she does, and which defends their position without making it sound defensive. (So, basically, so that you see their point of view and even if you don't agree, you understand why people might have that POV.) It can be someone else if you want, but it just needs to be a 'evil' character who actually has damn good reasons for the way s/he acts...

ETA Please can it be a female character, actually?
