But there are a lot of books I love, but the two I term as my GBE blew my mind. But no, I don't think everyone will love the books I love - it's just for me, I thought they were amazing and they really resonated with me. So they are my GBE. Then there are a lot of books I'm very fond of, but didn't blow my mind. Then there are books I quite like. Then there are books I don't care about... ^^
I think it's that I'm making a distinction between 'OMG THESE BOOKS ARE FANTASTIC' and 'OMG THESE BOOKS ARE FANTASTIC EVERYONE SHOULD READ THEM AND NO ONE SHOULD DISLIKE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SOMEHOW ON A HIGHER PLANE.' I think everything in my GBE is pretty much perfect, but I can understand how they might not take someone else the same way, and they'd see them differently.
So I have some books that I term my favourite books/books that I recommend because I think everything about them rocks, whereas there are a lot of other books that I would recommend if you like so-and-so, or you don't mind so-and-so, or I really liked but didn't blow my mind.

Does that make sense?
