Well, it's quite an entertaining version but it is kind of irritating in places. The most irritating thing is that they pronounce Ryu's name 'Roy'. HOW can they do this? It's obviously spelt R-y-u! Nik and I therefore assumed it was like Iori in Digimon being turned into Cody, and started planning our own Anglicized Akira remake (Kaneda = Cameron, Tetsuo = Tez (Terry), Yamagata = Gavin, Kai = Kevin and I'm stopping now cos I'm scaring myself...) The only annoying thing about the pronounciation really is I got used to it being the other way round - when I read the manga I pronounced it as you write it in your comment - and now I'm all confused... ^_^ Your comments are noted and unofficially appreciated. I don't know if it's on any more - it was on CITV at around 4-ish but I don't know if it's on now. But it's hysterical.
