You know what?
I'm actually getting quite tired of this whole Mary-Sue thing.
NOT the prevalence of MSs on fanfic - though that annoys me too - but the sudden urge people have to look at a character who has their looks described and is more than just mousy, has angst in their past or present, and has anyone like them at all, and yell "SUE!"

I mean, where do you stop? I've given some of my characters angst, probably quite cliched angst - does that make them Sues/Stus? Sometimes they're quite good-looking and I mention their eye colour - what about that?
No cute sidekicks though. Phew!
