Once again, I'm on LJ at 1 a.m!!
May. 8th, 2005 01:24 amWoah. So tired.
This morning we started rehearsals at ten a.m. Original plan was to begin technical rehearsal (we go through the motions so the lighting and sound teams can work out what they want to do) at ten. Unfortunately lighting and sound teams had realised they had a lot more work to do setting up than they'd realised. So we hung around until twelve, rehearsing random parts of the show, sewing costumes, etc.
Technical rehearsal began about then. We had intended to finish it at three and do a run-through of the whole thing, with costumes.
Technical rehearsal actually finished at half-four.
Happily, we then had about an hour's break, so my parents turned up with a picnic (including strawberries and cream!) and restored my good humour, which had been sadly absent until then.
Then we quickly ran through entrances and exits, and then we had the performance...
...which went great! Audience were lovely, clapping and cheering at everything, and all the soloists sounded gorgeous.
Then we had after-show party at the uni bar and then at the flat of one of the cast members. A lot more subdued than the Oklahoma one. (Everyone a hell of a lot more tired.)
I will go to bed soon. I'm so tired it's hard to hit the right keys ^_^
