I do. I think he is interesting and cool and rather awesome. I suspect I wouldn't like him so much as a person if we knew each other, but I like reading about him.

03 → What image/color do you associate with character?
Um... that's difficult. Several, really; maybe sunlight-yellow? But others too. Image-wise, sunsets and sunlight shining through a window... and torchlight.

br_roleplay, but it really bugs me that I can't think of a song which just fits him on his own. I want one *pouts*
05 → What blood-type do you think this character is?
According to wikipedia (which I assume took its info from the manga) he has type O blood, which, again according to wikipedia, gives his best traits as being agreeable, sociable and optimistic and his worst as being vain and rude. I can go with this. Although type B could've fit too.
06 → Of all of the titles that this character appears in, what character do you like to put this character with?
I like Shinji/Hirono for the friends-with-benefits simplicity. Shinji/Haruka can be interesting. Shinji/Yutaka works on a mental level but I'm not sure if I'm totally converted. movie!Shinji/Keita/Yutaka is always fun. And Shinji/Mitsuko has praying-mantis-type love ^^
07 → What would you want to say to this character?
"HE'S IN THE TRUCK! KIRIYAMA'S IN THE TRUCK!"
Apart from that? I dunno, I guess that actually the ice covering his heart isn't as impermeable as he thinks - but he knows that, by the end ^^
08 → What do you want to do with this character:
I'd like to write more with him, but BR is a difficult fandom for me to focus on properly in general. Also, I should fangirl him more and remember he's awesome, because he is an appropriate coping mechanism ^^

Yeah, in a 'you're kind of an idiot, aren't you' way ^^ he's loyal and comes through for his friends and that is admirable.

Yamagata, Yama, and when I give him a first name it tends to be something starting with I.

According to wikipedia, B type makes you active, wild, a doer, selfish and irresponsible, so I'll go for that.

Generally, I like shipping him with Kai or Kaneda, although I've had fun pairing him with Kei and Kaori in the past. (Have I written Yamagata/Tetsuo? Surely I wouldn't have omitted it... *ponders*) But I can imagine him having quite a strong bond with either of the first two and it's cool.
07 → What would you want to say to this character?
I don't really know what I could say. He gets himself killed, but he sort of couldn't have not done so, the way things pan out. "Stay in school, don't do drugs" maybe. Then he'd probably hit me.
08 → What do you want to do with this character:
I'd like to be able to write him again. I have some negative associations with my perception of Akira fandom and Yamagata and Kai in particular, and it'd be nice to chase them away.
