I feel very unmotivated to update.
Hence the, erm, somewhat disjointed nature of this post. At least in the uni library people aren't asking me how come I type so fast.
Anyway, yes, so far it's not been too bad. Haven't dropped out yet ^_^ flatmates do not seem that evil, fanfiction coming along pretty well, managed to get Channel 4 on my TV.

[By golly, I spelled that right on the first try!]
That's quite all right, Tallulah, there are enough thirteen-year-olds on LiveJournal prattling on about school and boys and clothes... and their entries are devoid equally of capitalization, and of interest.
I don't natter on about my daily life here either - but then I'm a guy, and it doesn't occur to me, nor could I imagine that anyone would be particularly interested if I did. It's not all that interesting even to me...
As for me, people do stare when I type, because I type fifty-two words per minute... twenty-six per forefinger. It's cop typing, hunt-and-peck, but done with the speed of decades of practice. Good news: No carpal tunnel, no need for ergonomic keyboards, none o' that. Bad news: I have to watch the keyboard as I type.
I pass typing tests, for employment or whatever, by the simple stratagem of reading the paragraph, remembering what I read long enough to type it, then reading the next...
