Light Opera Society concert tonight. My parents and little sister came to watch me sing...it was kind of late for my sis, and they were sitting in the second row, so I got to watch her slowly falling asleep...until we did our funky-ass rendition of 'The Teddy Bear's Picnic' and she sat bolt upright ^_^
Feeling positive about work tonight, probably because I've gone out of the house and done something (damn, this means I have no excuse for not having a social life...)
*next passage heavily censored to prevent it being read by the wrong person* Went to _____ to buy my _____ a _____ for his _______, which is next _____. I got him a ______ and a ____ which was in the sale (v good!)

Cool! What do you sing? Erm... Wait. Opera Society. Never mind. I know less than zip about opera, so I'll just say well done, hope you had a good time, and leave it at that. ^^
Teddy Bear's Picnic? That's a song? Wow, I did not know that.

Soprano's high, and alto's low, right? ^^

Well, maybe you should start writing "Boogie" instead. *COUGH*

Just kidding...but hey. If I ever won an Xbox in some sort of contest or somehting, ya'know, like I unscrew the cap on a Pepsi and the caps say "YOU WIN AN XBOX!!!", I'd actually send it to you...and pay shipping! ^_^

HMS Pinafore? The one with the song, "British Tar?"

I was just wondering, because in one of the Star Trek movies, they begin singing it, and I heard that "British Tar" is from HMS Pinafore. Is it? I like that one!

Yes! I love that song.

Well, you'd only understand if you're a geeky nerdy fan of Star Trek.

Nah, all you have to do to understand is at least know Star Trek pretty well.

It was in one of the movies. Are you into Star Trek at all?

Well, this movie is from "The Next Generation" Series. You know, with Captain Picard, not Kirk. Meh, you probably know.

Anyways, the movie is called "Insurrection". It's my favorite Star Trek movie.

Data goes a bit crazy, and hijacks a fighter ship. So, Picard and Word chase hin. To distract Data, Picard opens a channel and begins singing "A British Tar", and Data begins singing along.

You're welcome.

By the way, typo:

Anyways, check it out when you get the chance.
