End of Summer Survey
Remember everything you did this summer.
Did you go to the beach?
I didn't lie on the beach in a swimming costume sunbathing, but I walked along it with walking poles and a rucksack on my back :D
Did you have a summer romance?
No/
Did someone tell you they loved you?
Not in a romantic way.
What is your favourite summer moment?

lycoris and Nik and chatting about fandoms; drinking wine with my mum in Wales to cheer myself up after Doctor Who depressed me ^^; eating cheese and drinking champagne with my work friends.
Did something awesome and cool happen this summer?
I walked 92 miles, including up mountains *jazz hands* and finished the Malory Towers Battle Royale.
Did you read any books this summer?
Yes, quite a lot. Ones I can remember are The Raw Shark Texts by Steve Hall, First Among Sequels by Jasper Fforde, Another Note by that guy whose name I can't remember, and Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
Had any all nighters?
No, although I did stay up til one-thirty. (Actually if we count the end of May as summer, I stayed up til three. But it's still not an all-nighter.)
Had any sleepovers?
lycoris and I slept in the same room for a few nights ^^
Went to any pool parties?
No. The one friend who has a pool was trapped in post-PGCE/dissertation hell and then I ran out of leave XD
Went boy/girl watching?
Um, no.
Make any new friends?
I'd call the new girl at work a friend.
Was this the summer before college for you?
Noooo!
Did you watch Camp Rock on Disney Channel?
I don't really know what that is, but it sounds appalling.
Did you go anywhere besides the beach?
Yes. I went to Wales and Lancaster and back to visit my family and to London. Because I'm awesome.
Did you see The Dark Knight?
No. I kind of feel I should have done, though, if only to know what everyone is talking about.
Did you kiss someone this summer?
No.
Any hearts broken?
No.
Do you wish you could change anything?
Um... no, overall I don't think so. Most of the negative things present were there from before summer.
Are you ready for the school year?
That's a vaguely cute question ^^
Do you think this summer was better then last year's?
Hmm. Perhaps yes? I don't know, last year's I didn't like where I was working as much and probably wasn't as sociable, but... I think it's just that I've forgotten most of the negative parts of last summer and not of this one ^^ yes, I think it was better.
What was your number one song this summer?
Innerpartysystem - Don't Stop.
In one or two words describe this summer?
Varied.
Tomorrow I go to a friend's wedding. A bunch of us from work are going down. Despite the fact that this means I will have a two-day week before I go to Prague and thus MAJOR EMAIL OVERLOAD when I get back, I'm still quite pleased - I know if I were in the office all week I'd be fretting about the forthcoming trip and all the things I might forget.
Work was busy and crazy and had too many emails and meetings but I'm okay now apart from the random dizzy spell...
