Fanfiction.net are really irritating me... does anyone know of anywhere else it's worth posting, or am I stuck with them?

Skyehawke.net, mediaminer.org and fosff.org are three to start with.
Mediaminer also does fanart, but only does anime fanfiction, and skyehawke requires you to prove you can write coherently.

You can get a hold of the Anime/Jet Set Radio sponsor (who would be me. ^_^) with your preferred pen name, e-mail address, etc. or you can post a sample of your writing on the forum and wait a few months for one of the mods to get back to you. :~eyeroll~:
