Should be working, but have been sidetracked by Internet. Bad Tallulah, bad!
Just to say: why are we being forced to work in groups to complete our computing projects? It's not like teamwork, the ability to schedule or the ability to delegate have anything to do with computing... well, they probably do, but... meh. I'm just grumpy because we're really behind already and if I was working on my own I could keep up. Even if it did mean me having to figure out all the programming on my own. I don't care!
In one of our units we have actually hit something I DON'T UNDERSTAND. As in, to paraphrase Rimmer 'what does this mean? What does any of this mean? I've covered six sheets of paper in complete gibberish!'
Yamagata is cute. *stares at Yamagata icon for a few minutes, thereby killing a bit more time in which she's meant to be doing maths*

I'm sorry but I get SO PISSED OFF when Universities or schools make you work in groups. All it means is that a couple of people do all the work and the rest slack off and do nothing! Your grades rely on a bunch of other assholes and that pisses me off deeply. I'm terribly sorry *hugs* and I hope it all works out. *nods*

So far I've done the research, another girl has done 2/3 of the programming, a boy has done 1/3 and the other boy has... lots of appointments which mean he has to leave soon after we meet.
I still have this feeling we're going to fail, but... eh.
By the way, thank you for the presents! They were all lovely and I am keeping the mug in my room at the moment so no one nicks it. And the wrapping was fine.
The letter will probably be some time coming I'm afraid so I just wanted to say thanks.

Felt absolutely despairing last night because I couldn't write the report and I felt like my brain was broken, but now I have slept I feel much better and report is written. And has pictures. ^_^
Advantage of group work: so far I haven't had to do ANY computer programming.

I think it's really unfair when schools/colleges/unis make people work in groups because the people that don't like working in groups (you) and the social rejects (me. :~sigh~: ) are going to be really chesed.

And then when you can't find a group the teacher puts you in the one you'd rather shave your pubic area with glass than work with and they all get pissed off with you because you sit there giving them evils cause it's their fault, not your for being an outcast and I'm shuttng up now. Sorry. Seem to have gotten off track.

Basically, I feel your pain. I'm usually better on my own, too.
