My amazon order arrived today: I now possess the novel of Battle Royale and How To Draw Manga: Couples. Much love to sashwizzled! Have read BR and am not so traumatised as thanks to Nik I knew mostly who would die. Ending extremely clever though. There was much squealing.

Thanks to all the cuddles, support etc for my last post. Sorry if I got anyone worried. (Thank you, disks_smilie, for the strange info on TV ^_^)

lycoris, I took your advice and told my mum everything this morning... she was very rather upset but thanks you for encouraging me to tell; says you are a great person. Now feel rather as though I am in freefall. Don't know what I think about anything. Am seeing family doctor tomorrow who has known me since I was a baby, though; maybe he'll help me straighten things out.

My mum told my dad, who told me not to work so hard. Don't know why everyone thinks I am working too hard. Am working as much as I need to. Just have a lazy streak and so get resentful.

It's so sweet! It's inspiring me to want to draw again ^_^ I love that whole series actually, they're the best manga drawing books out there IMO.

I used to be quite good at copying manga, but I've got way out of practice... and as for making up my own, well, it NEVER looks as good! Eh... it's still kind of fun.

I used to copy manga all the time because it was the only way I could start practicing. My own pictures are getting better, but each time I try to learn a new way of drawing the bodies, I end up right back at square one, and it's very lonely out there.
