Chapter Three of Old Habits Die Hard is up here.

Watched the first six episodes of Trigun last night. It's really good! Slightly mad, angsty overtones, cool characters, intro that reminds me of a video game (in a good way). Tallulah approves!

LMAO, that was for One Fine Day >XD another part of the whole Disk-in-JSR chronology I'll have to revise if I ever get to it. But yeah, Trigun IS really awesome. Not the best anime/manga ever (currently, I reserve that spot for One Piece), but it ranks high up there.

oooh. One Piece is a fantasy-pirate manga where the main character, Monkey D. Luffy, ate the Devil Fruit from the Gum Gum Tree, giving him the ability to stretch his body like it were rubber--at the sake of his ability to swim. His dream is to become King of the Pirates by finding the treasure "One Piece," hidden in the Grand Line by the former and late King, Gold Roger. Along the way he collects a crew of sailors each with their own unique skills and personality, fighting villains from Buggy the Clown, a clown pirate who ate the Chop Chop Fruit and can seperate his body into segments, to Bon Clay, a near-transvestite ballerina with a black belt in karate. It's hard to pick out a favorite character because they're all so endearing. The story, too, prooves unique and powerful in its own way--you can tell that the person who does the manga feels very strongly about how a person's ideals and dreams mean more to them than their life.

Plus, it's goddamn funny. XD Highly recommend it, if you can find it! Just avoid the American dub if you can, because the voice acting is something awful.

Yes, please do! it's relatively inexpensive as far as manga goes (at least, over here it is--eight bucks per volume whereas most others can be ten or more). It's very much so worth the money.
